The final piece for my Fates week artworks. The third prompt for the fandom week was “Valla”, which was a natural conclusion to the first two kingdom-based drawings. My main idea going into this was symmetry, depicting both versions of Corrin (as well as an opportunity to draw their base “Nohr Prince/Princess design), the dragon stone, and significant locations associated with Valla (the bottomless canyon and the assorted floating islands that many Valla maps use). Maintaining the balance of details was particularly difficult during the lineart phase, and the top half somewhat struggled with contrast and detail due to the dark color scheme and lack of good reference images. But regardless, I think this is a fitting conclusion for this art series that I’m very pleased with.
