My first ever Wings of Fire oc!! Began reading the series (finally) this year and recently finished all three arcs. Wow what a ride... I have so many thoughts and sketches I need to upload here eventually, my inner dragon kid has officially been reawakened with this series >:3

ANYwho this is Everdreaming! A rainwing/nightwing hybrid born a little while after the great nightwing exodus from the volcanic island. Her parents met once the nightwings had settled down alongside the rainwing's jungle home.

Months later her egg hatched beneath a full moon, one that would have given a full-blooded nightwing dragonet mind reading powers. As Everdreaming was half rainwing, her powers instead manifested in her ability to sense the emotions of others, feeling them as though they were her own.

Her powers, so small compared to a true mind reader, don't often affect her life. Especially since rainwings are already so accustomed to seeing the feelings of others splashed all over their scales. Every once in a while Queen Glory will bring her on diplomatic missions in order to get extra intel on how the other dragons are feeling, but she defines herself by her skills more than her magic. Her powers only really negatively affect her in crowds with intense emotions, an experience she finds exhausting and overwhelming.

Personality wise she is calm, mature, and introspective. She loves to make art and build things, often assisting in improving upon and constructing new sections of the nightwing village. When Everdreaming isnt hopping about from project to project she can be found napping in the midday sun, or when awake drifting off into a daydream about her latest fixation.
