Introducing Nikstoya! The protagonist of the story I'm developing.

Nikstoya is a young student of magic living within the Nykoi capital. What interest she lacks in the practice of magic she makes up for ten-fold for it's history.

She carries with her a hefty journal in which she drafts her own textbook for the history of magic, a project she has worked on for years. Though she has encountered a monumental roadblock in the form of a 20 year gap in which there exists ZERO documentation. Nothing will stop her in her journey to fill this hole in her life's work, especially not her worrisome mother.

Nikstoya is driven, stubborn, and prone to hyperfocus and obsessive interests. She is quite clever but fails to apply herself to things that don't hold her attention. Friendly, but tunnel-visioned, she'll say hi but not stay long to chat she has places to be and you're kind of in the way.
