doodle for a short story that i dunno if im gonna clean up and post or not on account it made me very very sad XD

kidd has already eaten his df but killer still takes him out in the ocean - teaches kidd how to stay calm on the water and keep his wits about him. To keep from sinking too far or too fast... To just stay calm because killer will come for him

Just because kidd's an anchor now and cant swim doesn't mean he cant starfish/deadmanfloat and at least slow down how fast he sinks. Killer's going to get him prepared for what it feels like now, so when they're older and on the high seas - kidd already knows what that helpless feeling is like and can make sure he's still close enough to the surface that killer can get to him and still get them to the surface.
