i have krita downloaded but BARELY use it cus i hate using it </3. I just have it for animation but i do not fuck with krita. I also have drawing apps i don't use anymore since i got clip, like i divorced medibang and ig i have infinite paint, which is this old app i made my aunt buy me on my android tablet when i was 10 LMAO
Is it easier to draw someone facing left, right, or forward?
Facing to the right :) (though i keep drawing people facing forward. oh well!)
What ideas come from when you were little?
Wilted away, my oc story, that came from a dream i had when i was 12. I also think i'm just trying to fulfill little me's dreams and put the type of shows on tv(or youtube more like it) that i wish i could see when i was younger

I used to post EVERYTHING the moment i finished it but now??? uhm. it's more like 30/70, since i have a lot of art I'm hiding from people now cus i'm trying to work on projects and projects that i want to hold off on spoilers for <3 I am usually always drawing, but it takes a while for me to get to something i can post KSJFGKDFJGS

prolly??? bunch of early 2000s cartoons. Especially with my art that i try to make more cartoonish and when i make the lineart really thick and popout. I think it also makes me make my characters feet so big. Also sonic the hedgehog. he always on me mind

What's an old project idea that you've lost interest in?
my webtoon... lockers after summer 😭i made it in 9th grade and honestly just draw some of the character again just cus i want someone to draw for an example or whatever. I do not think about it anymore though..... maybe someday i will and revamp it but KDHGDJFD
Favorite piece of clothing to draw?
Big baggy jackets/hoodies or flow-y pirate shirts. could be basic but LMAO. i like drawing clothes though

Anything really. It's usually music, don't matter what kind. Sometimes i put on a youtube video or stream vod. or i just talk to my friends on call :3
Easiest part of body to draw?
The..... nose? the whole face is easy for me but i enjoy drawing noses. I DON'T KNOW GUYS, THIS ART THING PRETTY EASY FOR ME! EVERYTHING IS THE EASIEST PART OF THE BODY TO DRAW 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽 /obnoxious

i can't draw with food in front of me. I have a tiny desk already, so i can't eat anything while drawing cus i will just sit there till the plate is off my desk and then i feel like drawing again. I can only drink water

Do you use different layer modes?
Yeah when doing shading and light :3 also when i do edits! I haven't posted any of my edits on here, but the way i do black edits is that i used a multiply layer and color a characters skin like i would usually do on a normal layer if it was my own drawing :3
Do your references include stock images?
uhm.... i forget to use references....
If i do i usually pose for my reference or go to pinterest
Something your art has been compared to that you were NOT inspired by?
i've gotten several comments saying how my art reminds them of some disney movie. I hate disney.
Also one person said the persona characters would fit my artstyle 💀i don't have any interest in that game thanks.
What's a piece that got a wildly different interpretation from what you intended?
when i posted "almost" on tumblr, i got a lot of tags saying "i want what they have <3" which i found hilarious LMAOOOO. Thats the one moment in Bea and Dali's relationship where i would say it's maybe a lil toxic but LOL!! they did look like they were about to kiss though so like, i to do enjoy girls kissing so i dont blame them.

I participated in the "Frenrey: Pink to Blue" zine ^^ I was the last page. We raised over 6000 dollars for able gamers. I also participated in artfight for 2 years, maybe we'll make it a 3rd year.
Media you love, but doesn't inspire you artistically?
a lot of things inspire me artistically, whether i realize or not is the thing. Maybe kubo and the two strings? I used to watch that movie everyday but i don't really pull any juice from it

3 or 4? Waaaay back when i was like 10 i used to go by Konnie so my first username was Konnilicious or sumn like that, then i don't remember if i changed it to KonnieTheHomo or whatever. What is the first program you used to make digital art?
Well, Ms paint, When i was 7 and using anime bases i found online. But when i started making actual full pieces, I'm pretty sure my first app was on my tiny ass RCA tablet and I used Autodesk Sketchbook, and I also used something called "infinite painter" and it sucks <3. First program on the computer was firealpaca lol

I think it was Google+. Back in like 3rd grade. Then I went over to twitter.

Who was your first self-insert/persona/fursona? What did they mean to you?
I used to go by Konnie, like i said, and she didn't look like me </3. She was a white girl with green eyes and brown hair with a cookie monster hoodie and she was kinda like my mascot??? Like, I have drawings of me and her and I would sometimes draw myself as her but a lot of the times, she was just the face of my account. But even then, i would draw self portraits of myself and have that as my pfp instead so like. It was weird. It's also weird that she was white. I had a very rocky relationship with race as a kid </3
Who is your current self-insert/persona/fursona? How are they different to your first?
Now I draw myself like me lol :3. It's me with a screen face and gas mask cus I like robots and computers and i like the look of gas masks when used in a punk way. My sona is very different from Konnie cus now I actually see myself as black and I don't feel ugly in the features and skin that I have and I'm comfortable in just drawing myself how I am <3. I've come a long way in being black and mixed and liking my body so I'll gladly push Konnie to the side cus what the fuck was i thinking 💀

What/who do you think has influenced your art style the most?
This is hard to pin down. Theres a thousand black artists i follow that i can point to for making my art something i wanna be proud of. I also think games like lethal league, sonic, and parappa influence me a lot in the stylization with thick lineart and character design.
What/who inspired you to be an artist?
ARINA TANEMURA I LOVE KAMIKAZE KAITO JEANNE AND FULL MOON! Reading manga as a kid made me wanna take this shit seriously. I did start drawing though cus I saw my sister starting to draw as a kid and I felt like I could do better than her LMAO
What tools are integral to your current workflow? (e.g. Programs, brushes, references.)
My drawing tablet and computer. I need clip or medibang. I can't really think of anything else. I can work with almost anything to make art
What improvements have you made recently?
I've gotten really good recently at making my character designs look different from eachother in the face i love it :) I also am getting good at composition and backgrounds harhahra
What steps would you like to take in the future?
I need to learn to animate and make this show (Job Hunt) real and actually help in making it
