This is Marcus Solano, a major character in the music-themed story I'm working on.
He's a former child-celebrity, famous through reality TV and he was later turned into a teenage music idol by his overbearing mother and became very successful.
However, once Marcus turned into an adult, the cracks were showing and he uh ... ... wen't a little overboard with ... pretty much everything (drug abuse, alcohol, spending money, gambling, sex, …) – just to defy his mother and his former image. After many scandals (# Solanogate), Marcus left the public eye, to take a creative break (at least thats the official story, irl he just went on forced rehab).
Nowadays Marcus hasn't been seen in public for a while and his current whereabouts or future projects are currently unknown.

In the story, due to some unforeseen coincidences, he meets up with Ren, a songwriter/composer in denial, who has lost his desire to make music due to severe heartbreak and some bad life-decisions. The two young men connect and form an unlikely friendship trying to rekindle both of their passion for creating music.
