So,before I was interview Kiaun of Derideal,I was just so lucky thst I have a chance to chat with Charles Brubaker,creator of The Fuzzy Princess and Lauren Ipsum,now since there are too many questions I got for him,I'm gonna have no choice but to show you to few parts thst I managed to get him answered on bsky.
Here We Go!

Q:What was life be like when you are a cartoonist?
A:"It's pretty chill for me. I would write strips in a library or a coffee shop, sketch them out at home, and then ink them. It's easy-going for me."
Q:what was your influence on your work?
A:"I have a lot. I grew up enjoy 'Calvin and Hobbes', 'Peanuts', 'Piranha Club', and I would enjoy reading old 'Wizard of Id' and 'BC' paperbacks. I also read old manga, mostly Fujio Akatsuka's and Fujiko Fujio."
Q:Since this year (which means 2025) marks the 90th anniversary of one of your favourite Japanese humorous cartoonist/mangaka Fujio Akatsuka-sensei,what would you praise for him,and what you you cited him as a influence,and how can you do such justice to tribute this humorous Sensei?
A:"I absolutely love how wild Akatsuka's mangas are. They always inspire me to push my own work when it comes to writing gag comics. I love his design sense, too."
Q:Since you cited that MAD magazine is one of your influences on your humor,how can you tribute? How do you do well with Nick Meglin? And how do you get hired for writing a MAD comic strip?
A:"I only met Nick Meglin once, literally one week before his death. Even at his old age he was very sharp with his sense of humor."
Q:Will you expand your Fuzzy-verse*? (* the term that I coined for your Universe that consist of Fuzzy Princess and Lauren Ipsum) if so,what will you do?
A:"I'm already doing that with 'Lauren Ipsum', pretty much"
Q:What was your humor be like?
A:"I like writing character-based humor, where much of the jokes come from the characters' personalities and how they would act".
Q:Any other project's you been working on with?
A:"Currently I'm focused on 'Lauren', although there are comics reprints I'm hoping to work on down the line. That's under wraps for now."
