Back before Sonic Adventure 2 came out, there was already a character who uses a gun(well, a cork-gun); Nack the Weasel, a.k.a Fang the Sniper. I wanted to draw Shadow and Nack doing something shooting related, so why not a shooting range.
I looked up a shooting range on google images to get a reference of the building.
