Growl always wondered why tamers don't wear a coat or anything heavy in cold weather in the digital world. He understands that some digimon are built for the cold, like Zudomon, while other digimon has high tolerance to it. Louis can stand the cold, but wears gloves and boots when it snows. Growl's vest, despite looking like a normal vest, is made from data of Flamedramon, so it keeps him from slowing down due to the cold. Human tamers has no excuse as they walk around in the same clothing year around(though granted, some tamers has no choice if they're unable to prepare or pack). Growl decides to remedy that. Louis also has a gift for Ike's digimon.
