Hedgehogs crystallized quills are quite similar to diamonds. Though they have little value, some still try to sell them for cash and get alot! A hedgehogs may someone their quill if they see it as a fitted reward(after all, it's their "hair". They don't really see them as good awards unless you needed a sharp tool).

I wonder if Luigi still want that crystal(he most likely will).
