Context: the (headcanon) story for this drawing is that Bev (their friend, who is a fashion designer) gave Eddie a new dress. Eddie (left) is a newly out and finding herself after divorce. Richie (right) has had a crush on Eddie since they were kids. Presumably Bev knows about the crush, so you know she's scheming to get these two together.
