srry this is a lil venty
ive been struggling to find time to work on creative things that are like more long term projects. things that are more than just one drawing.
i have like several of these kinds of projects that id like to explore. but im like... finding it hard to concentrate on one thing.
and work has been getting busier lately so really, the only time i have to really sit down for a long period of time is during the weekend, and thats only if im not already doing a social thing that day.
anyway yeah... its hard working 40 hours a week (5 days a week) and only have 3/4 hours after work to like eat, shower, hang out with wife.
maybe i just need to take a moment to collect myself. i dunno. i feel inspired to work on things!! exciting new things! like music and idk. i just... dont know how to find the time...
i still have a few wips that i need to work on. i might not be able to get them to the level of finished i had hoped. but i want to post them before the end!
this year has been really fun and ive really enjoyed all the ocs i got to draw.
and all the attacks ive received ;o; i wish i had enough time to revenge everyone.
anyway tldr, thank you for the amazing art fight this year!
As the title says, tell me your favs!! can be more than one.
i'll try and draw some them tonight when i get home from work!
no guarantees that i'll get to your requests but there sure is a chance.
personally, im been vibing with rotom and shinx lately.
i havent done this one before i think?? maybe i tried filling it out at some point and then never finished it.
got from @Twiggie!
- How many usernames have you had? (You don't have to share them!)
Like 12 or more from 2007-present. Either because I needed different usernames on different sites. Or for side blogs. Or just a change of username.
I currently have like 4-ish handles that are active I'd say.
This isn't including Steam, other gaming log-ins. Or my inactive vtuber persona. (that'd add like 3-4 more to the list)
- What does your current username mean?
mooncritter, pretty self explanatory. "moon" is in connection to the my namesake of my real name, which ive shared online in the past but do less now just to idk be more mindful of my privacy online. "critter" is just idk a fun word and i call one of my lil ocs Critter or like call it a moon critter.
- What is the first program you used to make digital art?
I think it was photoshop cs3? But might've even been an old copy of photoshop 7. i had access to the program thanks to my dad's work in graphic design.
i still have photoshop on my old college laptop now, photoshop cs6.
4.Where did you first start posting your art?
deviantart!
5.What is the first piece of media you drew fanart for?
probably pokemon.
6.Who was your first self-insert/persona/fursona? What did they mean to you?
my first fursona was basically calico cat inspired by my own cat, who wore a green scarf. pretty soon after i also drew her as a fox.
- Who is your current self-insert/persona/fursona? How are they different to your first?
i recently made a new fursona, that im still feeling out. havent made a ref for them yet. but they're named Mar or Marcie.
- What/who inspired you to be an artist?
If we go to the beginning of it all, definitely my parents who were artists, and also one of my first best friend in kindergarten and her older sister who drew a lot too. The inspiration only continued with Pokemon and cartoons, and eventually anime and manga too.
- What tools are integral to your current workflow? (e.g. Programs, brushes, references.)
im not really sure. i mean i like to try different things. but overall, clipping masks are so useful. and i also really like how clip studio paint can put a clipping mask on a folder of layers. super helpful. also layer modes in general. feels like simple stuff but it counts a lot for digital art.
