I've had never done a mermay before and I was feeling 'want-to-make-new-character..ish' sooo, I made a parental figure for my mermaid character.

I liked the idea of someone like Dawn who's shy, nervous and can be afraid of her own shadow at times; being completly fine with her dad being a spooky deep sea creature. (And one of the reasons why we hate the ocean.)
Meet Abyss. He's based off an angler fish but despite his looks though he's a big softy. Super nice and has a list of dad jokes a mile long.
