Funny is actually a fungal creature (original species that I’m calling ‘Bungus’) that mimics life, though poorly, and uses its sweet smelling spores and other tantalizing secretions to lure and paralyze/trap its prey with its hallucinogenic effects.

That means Funny eats living creatures, primarily human.

Funny is plant based and is 0% mammal.
