Katober is bringing us into the darker months and so it's important to have a guiding light especially if you have to venture into a Swamp... Good thing Lumière Perdue is always such a willing guide for those who find themselves in such a place where the tree canopy start to block out all other means of direction. Even allowing travelers to rest awhile in his raised hut off the swamp's water like a very gracious host.
Of course that would be a really sweet thing if you don't use the name he would come to be known by, Lost Light who lures kats deeper and deeper into the heart of the swamp only to abandon them when they have no way of finding their way back out alive. Tales of those who have survived an encounter with this creature tell how he is no longer a true kat but something warped by whatever taints the water he wanders in, how Lost Light would give little snippets of information like being raised by the Swamp after being abandoned by his parents, how the creatures within the water pass him like he was just another change of the current... How he wants to give back to the Swamp what it has given him. Life.
Amos has encountered Lost Light a few times in his travels, each time leaving him for dead after another trick or an attack but each time the viper slithers back.
