Can you imagine not only being so annoying that you cause someone to create an automaton with the express goal of killing you... Not only being so annoying that someone then gives that automaton an advanced super complex difference engine to think for itself so it can better trace and kill you... But also be so annoying that that someone invents a self winding automaton, invents literal perpetual motion for NO OTHER REASON than making it so it can keep hunting to kill you?!
That is how annoying Amos was to the inventor Hackilles back in his time, to the point he created Kouzína to be his clock work assassin who not only would be able to think for itself so it could infiltrate and track the pirate that wronged him but also would never tire and never give up trying to get Amos. Kouzína even anticipated it's own deactivation and thus built back ups of itself to make sure it achieved it's goal.
