Tyler “Kat O’ Rat Tails” Caiside - It is hard for a kat obsessed with going as fast as they can in the age of piracy. Before even the steam engine graced the land the quickest you could find yourself was either on horseback or being fired from a cannon and since the latter wasn't very survivable young Tyler found himself on a horse riding like the wind. Sadly it was never Tyler’s horse he found himself upon. Growing up poor had lead him to becoming a horse thief which soon lead him to a prison couch, thankfully though it was a couch also containing one Amos Redgrave and one high speed couch chase later Tyler was on the Midsummer Rose as part of the crew. Always trying to make the ship going faster, studying maps to find new routes, Tyler is a helpful member of the crew… So long as you find any form of racing for him to engage with when you make port.
His nickname on the crew stems from his numinous little tails of hair from under his scarf.
