This is a Christmas gift I made for a friend for this Holidays. She had a rough year this year, so I hope this gift can lift her spirits. She loves Ariel from Disney's The Little Mermaid, so I made her this Ariel doll.

The head of Ariel is a Takara Angel Garden doll (a spin off of Takara Jenny), and her body is that of a made to move Barbie doll. So I guess she is a Takara/Mattel Barbie?

I re-rooted her hair with desire nylon hair I got off of Shimmerlocks. I restyled her hair with doll curlers (they are a joy to use for curling doll hair). I love how her hair turned out.

I had fun with this doll. I hope my friend will enjoy this doll as much as I have.
