And now, for something entirely different: I worked with a doll to create it in the image of a Japanese Bunka doll.

The doll was originally a bait Kuu Kuu Harajuku doll I found online. Her clothes were badly stained, and her hair was a mess. I originally wanted to re-root her hair, but instead, I made her a wig out of Alpaca doll hair. I made her outfit and repainted her face to look like a Bunka doll. I used some photos from a Bunka doll book I had laying around at my place.

I think I am naming this Bunka style fashion doll Akiko, after the cute little girl from Godzilla: Minus One.

I'm not going to lie, I had fun customizing this doll. It took about four days, but it was all worth it in the end.
