This doll is a combination of a custom doll and doll restoration.

The Japanese Bandai Sailor Moon doll came to me in bait condition, alongside the other Japanese bait dolls of the inner senshi. Is it me, or are the Japanese Bandai Sailor Moon dolls from the 1990s some of the few Japanese dolls that root the dolls with Polypropylene hair? If so, no wonder their old hair came to be brittle and falling out over time. In the doll customization community, alongside the doll restoration community, polypropylene doll hair is a huge no-no, due to its cheapness and lack of durability over time.

So I re-rooted Sailor Moon with a nylon doll hair blend of Golden Sun and Golden delicious I bought off of Dollyhair. It is my favorite nylon doll hair blend. I used this blend for my custom Bandai Rapunzel doll, my Tokyo Disneyland Rapunzel doll, and my Bandai Princess Aurora doll. I even slightly styled Sailor Moon's hair to boot.

I repainted her face, since these brand of Sailor Moon dolls have face up paint fade over time. The face up is a mix art style of the Sailor Moon manga and Licca-chan art styles.

TBH, I had a lot of fun both customizing and restoring this doll. Hope to do more of the inner senshi pretty soon.
