TBH, I am neutral about the Metroid series and Samus Aran, but darn it, Samus is a fun character to work with artistically.

I rerooted her hair with Alpaca doll hair, and repainted her to look like her Zero Suit Samus. I especially love the Alpaca doll hair I rerooted her with, too bad it can be so pricey at times.
