30h of work time according to clip studio, 250+ layers, 40 minutes long timelapse waiting to be exported, all because i had one thought that ✨made me sad✨

i was watching my partner pick reload back up after a long break and rewatching mitsuru's social link scenes made me think 'huh, i wonder if she kept visiting those places without him after-'

-and then this happened because that thought made me really upset

also it just so happened that i started this before i got busy irl, picked up a new thing to fixate on and started planning a new cosplay, so between all that i'd been letting this one stew in the wip pile for like a month, the thought of it getting more and more daunting every day

full disclosure, the banners and text box were traced and then drawn over using the trace as a reference layer - i wanted the text box to look as close as i can get it to reload's ui, and i had no hope of recreating those banners on my own without help

also, if this piece looks weirdly pink, just know i tried to fix it and got myself stuck in a loop of comparing color accuracy between screens, files and image viewers
