woah i'm back after literal years :V well, mainly because i had no idea that the site had come back.

it's been so long that i don't really remember what it was like, so i have no clue how much has changed. i'm thankful that it's here though! i've been missing having a site that's purely art focused since deviantart went down the shitter. social media isn't a real replacement for sites like these, and trying to foster any kind of community through artwork on social media has mostly been a pain. i'm willing to bet that the lack of a space for creativity contributed to the slowdown of my output over the years.

i've been going through the tags and following furry artists en masse, which has been great! tons of neat people exist on here, and it's such a relief that it's so easy to find the stuff i like and filter the stuff i don't wanna see. the quality of life features on here are fucking awesome.

besides that, i've still been chipping away at art, just very very slowly. looking back through my gallery on here, it was really shocking to see how far i've improved. i was convinced i hadn't improved much at all. i was wrong!
hopefully being here will get me to draw more, and i also hope to make some new friends ^^ happy to be here!

footnote: i looked at one of my old journals and allegedly it lagged a lot back then. and then i said i didn't enjoy it much. probably half lag and half schizospec paranoia lol. the site seems much better now, if past me is to be believed
