Shout out to the last time I joined an indie art website and went seven full years before I finally wrote an introductory post as a gag. I'm still like a week late on this, but oh well.
My name's Nyomi, and it's nice to meet you! I heard about Sheezy from a friend, instantly fell in love, and ended up buying early access so I could get an account set up. It's like Comicfury meets Deviantart with a splash of Myspace, and I truly could not ask for a more impeccable vibe than that.
I'm a recent college graduate with a degree in film, totally not having a crisis about post graduation life. Trying to make some money in freelance art so I can work towards moving to a big city (I am from Corn Hell). Been doing digital art on and off since 2011 - did a lot of animation when I was younger, but this turned into more digital art proper when I got more into webcomics, haha. Still like to dabble in animation from time to time, though. The AMVs in my head? Unreal.
Recently finally made the connection that "I like to draw people" and "I like to draw animals" had a VERY OBVIOUS OVERLAP and have finally embraced the furry, so I'm very sorry that most of my art has been of my sona - I'm trying to figure out how I want to draw her.
I love to tell stories, and I focused primarily on screenwriting in my studies. Outside of all of that, I'm a drumline instructor over the summer and love music! I'm a prog metal enjoyer in particular - the relapsed band kid and former theater kid demand horns and 7/8 time in my metal music LMFAO. 80s/90s button up enjoyer, especially when it looks like an old arcade carpet threw up all over the shirt. Into anime, JRPGs, and watch an embarrassing amount of YouTube.
It's nice to meet everyone - feel free to hit me up whenever!
