A university student studying for a degree in Education hoping to become a teacher, Brodie still finds it difficult to adjust to being a zombie but hopes returning to university will bring some normalcy back to his life.

Brodie is optimistic and spontaneous and lives 'life' by the motto, "If I don't laugh, I'll cry". Brodie is friendly towards others and tends to prioritize people's feelings over his own; he does not want to worry others, so he avoids talking about his own feelings. In the past, before his death, he was a delinquent, often instigating fights and spending most of his time drinking—he wants to use this new chance at life as an opportunity to be a better person.
