Drawn in the shape of a Northern blue jay with the Gram positive purple color, the animal base was an inspiration from a Tumblr post on the bird in Pennsylvania. Not sure of what to name my little opportunistic commensal, but she’s a traveling bacterium in her human host’s gut, where the other bacteria and microbes have known her to be as the saint since she follows her host’s religion unlike other bacteria colonies who have their own way of life.
Normally there are bacteria colonies like probiotic tribes and occasionally pathogenic clans when a specific bacteria of disease infects a host, yet more numerous kinds of bacteria are opportunists and many of them are commensal, these kind of bacteria are neither good or bad and they have their own way of living as travelers and mediators in the gut outback. Few others opportunists, such as pathogens like Kleibsella and C. difficule are known to exploit weaknesses like antibiotic overuse with tendacies in killing whatever they see for monitoring.
In a healthy balance of gut microbiota composition, the opportunists can work together with probiotics as temporary members of their tribes.
