i suppose i should make an introduction post of sorts. man i havent done this in so long i dunno what to say... for the past 3 years ive pretty much just been hiding on tumblr as my only consistent social network. hmmmmmmmm...

thought on sheezy dot art... i like it! i like the name. sheeeeeeeeeezy. i was here in 2021 apparently but i straight up have no memory of doing that. milo @/seagullcity just told me randomly one day that sheezy was returning and i felt like i fell into an alternate reality where i signed up for this ole website and i had to wrack my brain to remember if i really did that. but im glad i did, cuz now i get to be here and post my silly drawings for people to see :) id been mourning the golden days of deviantart past recently, actually, so for milo to come out of the blue with this beautiful site felt like fate...
i really like this site. feels like web 1.0. i had suuuuuuuuuuch a blast customising my page. trying to figure out the html to make the freaking blinkies stop stacking ontop of eachother was a real headache but i made it out alive in the end <3 so many memories today actually... trying to remember my humble origins on this site, trying to remember my pancake recipe cuz i didnt write it down, trying to remember my html skills... i used to be sooo badass at html but now its hiding in my brain. so im glad i have the chance to revive them on here.

i am omtai :) my name is actually ya-el but its just become a habit for my username to be my normal name. im 19 and im in university studying english literature and film theory. though ive kind of been slacking my ass off with university and ignoring the whole thing. the woes of the permanent procrastinator... oh well. i'll do better. probably. maybe.
Anyways...
ive been drawing since i was a little kid and been doing digital art since i was like... 9? 10? around that time. im trying to branch out more this year medium-wise. trying to get weird with it... i wanna do more clay art but all my clay turned into bricks </3 alas. such is the fate of clay... im a mediocre poet, as well. i might post my poetry here if i get the courage for it! stay tuned. or dont. its your life <3
i like a lot of things... i like sunshine. and glow in the dark moons and stars. and the word "chillax". and music. i looooove music... im using an ipod again this year and its so fun listening on that little metal+plastic brick!!! really makes me live out my antichronistic dreams. 2024 is the year of revivals.
