In this dark space
I heard a voice,
A soft, haunting voice.
It was calling my name.
Almost as if it wanted me,
To return to its side.

Come...
Come back...
Come back to...
Come back to me...
Come back to...
Come back...
Come...

My soul twisted within,
With each haunting call.
I wanted to obey that sweet,
Haunting voice commanded.

My will crashed against the abyss,
That was created by Darkness' hold.
I fought to return to the angel that called
My soul cried out towards the angel,
Willing myself to break the bond.

Come...
Come back...
Come back to...
Come back to me...
Come back to...
Come back...
Come...

The haunting voice seemed louder,
With each passing minute.
My soul commanded I obey,
My will fought for control.
My body struggled for life.

Come...
Come back...
Come back to...
Come back to me...
Come back to...
Come back...
Come...

A light surfaced,
My soul plunged into that light.

Come...
Come back...
Come back to...
Come back to me...
Come back to...
Come back...
Come...

An angel appeared before me,
Hands soft and longing.
His touch sent a jolt through my body,
My soul ignited with life.
My will surged with power.

His eyes were hollow,
But in them a beat of life.
His life was my life.
His will my own.
His souls my life source.

A soft smile appeared on his face,
A worried look erased as he watched.
My eyes opened to his,
A breath caught in my throat,
Showing I was indeed back
From the dead.

Come...
Come back...
Come back to...
Come back to me...
Come back to...
Come back...
Come...

In the dark,
I had heard my angel's voice.
And with my angel's haunting call,
I was brought back from death.
