Raya and the Last Dragon felt like a bit of a missed opportunity to showcase the beautifully unique shapes and sensibilities of SEAsian art styles in their dragon design. I couldn't help but try my hand at pushing that aesthetic in her design just a little bit more.

And thus, I ended up with this! She looks...very different haha. But I like it, a lot!
Mostly influenced by thai aesthetics, because well...that's where I live!
