Wither I suppose? I typically choose the aesthetic I like most but even then the themes I played on didn't truly interest me much. If I would have given it a chance earlier I would have loved being on Tea! 🍵
WHAT TEAM / THEME ARE YOU HOPING FOR THIS YEAR?
Personally hoping for Seafoam vs Stardust and I'd join the seafoam side! Because every time there's a theme remotely creature like vs something else is when we get a time like last year where it felt humanoid vs furries. It's an obvious indicator of who will win most times and it's not as fun ><

ON A SCALE OF 1 - 10, HOW MUCH WILL YOU BE PARTICIPATING THIS YEAR?
Proooobably on a 6 to 7 scale honestly. Artfight takes place during FFXIV Dawntrail release and uhhh yeah definitely going to be way more focused on that during my free time haha. I'll probably be mainly focused on defending myself and have more time to attack others in the later half of the month whew!

Gosh though I love this site 😭 It takes me back to yee old DA days of celebrating everyone's art! I hope I can give back to the community more and more as this site grows...!
I've been doing ArtFight for 3 years and can't wait to do a 4th! I've been slowly updating my character's refs and priority order and aaaaa I need those teams revealed already-- here's hoping my team actually wins for once because I've yet to get a crown haha...

how did you learn: self taught and forging my craft slowly but surely. i'm a super slow improver as i've been drawing since middle school haha
how long does it usually take you to make something: depends! sketches can take 30 min to an hour, lining another hour, coloring and everything else a few more hours. a proper piece takes a good chunk of the day and then some.
what's the big project you haven't got around to yet: an art of my wol and his da preparing for the new ffxiv expansion dawntrail! though perhaps i should finish all my new art references for artfight instead--
