no more heroes fanart/screenshot redraw from early last year

i love fake 3d rendering, i have before this drawing and since this drawing, but this was specifically trying to emulate the hard shadow style of the game itself and the screencap i referenced… im forever frustrated with the fact that i cannot grasp 3d modelling at all, but really love a certain visual style of 3d art that i wanted to replicate in 2d. I think emulating the process is fun too with placing textures and shadows and all that. one day i will be competent at 3d and can finally get my vision across but for now im fine with sticking to 2d imitation, and i like this style too much sorry im a bit obsessed with myself

anyway, i love no more heroes, and kill the past, and grasshopper inc/suda51 games in general. i think him and me are linked like this🤞suda ive received the subliminal messaging you have left for me in your games and i am on the next plane over to your location. ill never get over the unique visual style/gameplay all of his games have, and the surrealist aspects of them appeal to me in a way that nothing ever has. the last 51 game i finished was the first silver case lol and i thought it was really invigorating. i still havent finished nmh3 tho. I bought it on release and its just been collecting dust on my shelf 😕 ill get to it one day. cant wait to see my babygirl shinobu 🥹 and travis i guess… funny enough contact is next on my list thanks to delta emulator so i can play it on the go 🫶
