(Originally posted 3 March 2018) This was inspired some years ago by someone on Tumblr asking me what my CEC/PTT "ships" were. I admitted I didn't really ship anybody (the characters aren't deep enough for me to get invested in any relationships), but had a half-headcanon that Chuck Sr. had mild feelings for OG Helen (who I saw as modern Helen's aunt), but never admitted them because he was worried she'd think that was the only reason why she was brought into the band.

They had quite a few duets together in the old showtapes, and likewise, this was inspired by "One Woman Lover" by Gino Vannelli. I don't think Italo-Canadian disco was anywhere near Pizza Time Theatre, Inc.'s radar at the time, but it's a fun song to perform.
