more Sonic OC stuff! there's like a whole subplot in my AU that happens in the 6 month gap between the start and main story of Forces-- Aile the Otter (bottom left) gets kidnapped and used as a test subject for roboticization, but escapes and meets Vent (top left) who's been fully converted while still keeping his sense of self. they join the Resistance together, but there's a lot of paranoia about if Vent is an infiltrator. he's got the same shapeshifting ability as Neo Metal Sonic and his memory is spotty, so he's already suspicious from the get-go.

everyone's so worked up over Vent and Aile's motives that they don't think to question the convenient appearance of the person that brought up the possibility in the first place.
