Now I didn't start digital art with procreate. It was actually this discontinued art app that had an amino community. Sadly I don't remember the name. ANYWAYS. So procreate brushes right? Imo they all have their own potential. For some reason though a good chunk of them just never stuck out as a permanent brush for me. Then I saw people were distributing their own custom brushes so I started looking into those. I've definitely purchased and downloaded a lump sum of sets. I used some for a bit, but none of them stuck permanently.
One day I decided to make a set of my own, then another, and another, and many more after getting frustrated that I couldn't find specific brushes that had what I was looking for. I made a crayon/colored pencil set that I used for a bit. I loved that set, it's still a set I'm proud of to this day though I've moved onto another main set.
Even with the two sets I use currently. I still get urges to make and experiment with both the new and old brushes I make. So I thought I'd get back into redistributing my own brushes again. For some reason, it got into my head that I was still making brushes because I was unsatisfied with my own art. Not the case, making brushes is just fun for me and I like drawing with them and I like all the different kinds of art that I make. It's not inconsistency, I'm just flexible!
I was able to purchase the two Shiren games available on switch at less than full price. My goodness, this certainly isn't all funshines and rainbows! This isn't pokemon mystery dungeon where you can have a moveset to defend yourself. You, the player, have no type advantages, no special moves or powets, and you scrap around for items. (Weapons, shields, food, money, etc.) Some of the monsters though? Oh boy... There's a type of monster that possesses and evolves any monster it finds after you defeat it..! Not to mention the level reset when you fail and then you lose everything as a regular degular man😭
It's fun though, I'm getting whooped but it's fun and it really makes you think about how you wanna use your items. In one of the games, it literally tells you NOT to be stingy. (Which in pmd I had ever so much luxury to be)
I don't play pokémon's version of league of legends often. However I decided to hop on, and ngl I was a bit overwhelmed. I'm not a big fan of their new way to obtain licenses. If I didn't already have some of my favs I wouldn't be playing. You have to either grind to get points for licenses(some you may not even want or be good at) or you have to bust out real dough and purchase aeos gems. There's a LOT more items that require aeos gems. Mostly customization, but it's starting to feel more and more like a cash grab gacha game. They're just not hiding it now. They've completely gotten rid of aeos coins so the ones I have leftover are completely useless. Matchmaking is still kinda buns for the most part too. It's a bit more bearable with a friend. Truthfully if it wasn't pokemon, nobody would be playing this game.
