hello, I'm pend! I don't do so great with introductory stuff so I'm sorry if this is rough GHHFDS
I'm a digital artist mainly focused on character design & illustration but I'm a storyteller at heart and I love all forms of it! How long have you been drawing?
as long as I can remember, but I started digital art in roughly 2015!
Who inspired you to do art?
my first inspiration was my dad - he doesn't do art regularly but when I was a kid we would doodle together a lot, and I fully believe that's what first sparked my interest.
What is your favorite color?

Do you own a pet?
yes! I have a dog (husky/german shepherd/black lab) named Bolt, a cat named Puma (who was the namesake for my first real art account), and many MANY chickens. like to the point where I actually do not know how many chickens anymore
How many fandoms are you in?
I'm not sure? on one hand I don't consider myself to really be a huge fandom person, on the other hand I have so many interests that I wouldn't be able to count them anyway HGFD
So where did you find out about Sheezy?
I don't remember where exactly I first heard about it, but I started actually paying attention because of a thread on Toyhouse!
How did you get your username?
there's a few layers to it! initially I picked up the name "pend" (I had a very large amount of owed work at the time, so it was partially a satirical reference to the pending offers, but the definition of "awaiting decision" or being in between things really resonated with me) -> I really really like Howl's Moving Castle so "pend" became short for "pendragon" -> the username itself came from wanting to incorporate my name in some way, and it was intended to be sort of like the draconic language from D&D (or just "of pendragon")

Is there any advice for new artists you have?
do it out of love! the most important thing is whether or not you yourself are enjoying it - draw things that make you happy, find people who you can share your interests with, and don't get caught up in the numbers game. also don't be afraid to use references & incorporate things you like from other peoples' styles!
And finally, the final question. Are you a morning person or a night owl?
I may be waking up at ~6am every day but it is not by choice
