from february 2023, part of my wc design challenge

since i did gray wing last time, i decided to go ahead and do his brother while i was at it!

clear sky was a lot harder for me to get down than his brother. i wanted to try and make them be sorta opposites of each other? so clear sky has lighter colors, more white markings, is not as fluffy (and what fluff he DOES have points up whereas gray wing’s points down), is super short and is blue-tinted instead of orange. also, while my gray wing has half-lidded eyes all the time, clear sky’s are very big, wide, and expressive.
i’m pretty happy with him in the end, but it was such a trial to get here, especially for what is ultimately one of my simpler designs. ah well, we push onwards!
