from may 2023!

i wasn't going to draw him next, but i woke up one morning with a very clear design idea and it would not let go until i drew it

his markings are partially inspired by a tiger, partially inspired by a hawk. i also have a rough "blob test" of my bramblestar design that i referenced so i could give them some family resemblance

i tried to give his tail a VERY vague wing shape, and the dark brown marking at the tip is to emphasize that. gave him red pupils because i always thought it was cool when people do that with scourge, and i gave him blue teeth and claws to help them stand out against the white. the single fang sticking out of his mouth is supposed to be beak-like

for my design process i'll do a sketch, maybe put some colors i want to use on the side (if i don't do a "blob test" first), then check the wiki to see if i'm missing any important details. that made me realize that hawkfrost canonically has a scar on his muzzle... i thought people just did that because it looked cool LOL
