My boy Thorin!
He's from a dnd campaign I play on Sundays with some folks I met online!
He's an oath of the open sea dragonborn paladin with a background in sailing!
He was a part of a crew with his childhood best friend / sister figure Melody the Dragonborn captain, and the two people they hired: Clay the tabaxi cook and Dominique the aarracokran boat swain/rigger.
His main job was the muscle and even became a paladin to learn to protect them better from pirates but ended up failing miserably at his one job.
He was beaten to a pulp and his crew taken from him and now he's on a quest to save them and dismantle the organization that regularly attacks ships and takes crews like his.
Despite his stupid high charisma, he is not great with people and often panics when put on the spot so he keeps to himself mostly. (Character- high charisma vs Player- negative charisma + social anxiety lmao)
Even though he's not great at voicing his thoughts, he makes up for it in action. With shield in hand, he'll body-block just about anybody who tries to harm his newfound friends.
His main role in the group is tanking and locking big enemies in place with sentinel while the others either focus on the smaller enemies or help him with the big one.
He's the first Paladin I've played (I'm usually a Barb main) but he's so fun and hitting big smites is SO satisfying
