The false Rattlehorse. These predators smell and pose as rattlehorses, often defending the herd from other predators, and will integrate themselves into the herd. They will pluck out the occasional Rattlehorse individual as a meal.
Often, rattlehorses will realize there are predators living amongst them; but, interestingly, it seems the faux rattlehorses’ protection from all other predators benefits the herd in the end, and they are rarely chased out.
