Here's the Arctic Wolf (Canis lupus arctos). The Arctic wolf is a subspecies of wolf native to the Canadian Arctic. These wolves are smaller than their larger cousins. They have a thicker coat, and shorter ears and muzzles to retain body heat. These wolves hunt a wide variety of prey such as caribou, Arctic hares, birds, lemmings, foxes, and even snowy owls and their chicks. One of their most favored prey is the musk ox.
