Flamboyant cuttlefish, like most cephalopods use their chromatophores to display for mates, warn other animals and to hypnotize and camouflage to better aim at their prey such as crustaceans and small fish. You'll find them in the tropical Indo-Pacific waters off the coasts of Northern Australia, Southern New Guinea and surrounding islands like Indonesia and the Philippines.
