Since her meltdown and joining the Crew, a month had passed. As they ventured towards a new island, their new mechanic and second division commander seemed to be having a lot of fun.

They mostly played pranks, hung out, and played games together. In the evenings they often chatted, telling each other tales about their world.

The worries many in the Crew had prior were seemingly gone. She openly asked for the thermal heat she required and had integrated herself perfectly.

The only thing amiss was her constant work and lack of sleep, which slowly grew to be a factor of concern. Through Ben, the Crew learned that she was keeping herself busy to avoid thinking about what happened on the moon.

Ben explained that Convection-Mutants of the Lunarian species, like Nemo, didn’t biologically require sleep but it was beneficial for their overall wellbeing. Their brains needed a break from constant information processing. Ben mentioned that Boss used to take micro-naps daily but stopped after the destruction of the moon’s colony.

However, Ben reassured them there was nothing to worry about yet; it regardlessly mentioned that Boss was less angry when well rested. ...
