My headcanon for Neopets society going by how the actual game is played, not the plots, is that it must be extremely hyper-individualist for obvious reasons. Everything about a Neopet is flexible, you can change your species, color, sex, even all at once. The only thing that makes you 'you' is your name and personality. But if species and color is variable, there has to be SOME individual physical traits that would make a singular Neopet recognizable across the board.

I never had 'actual' Neopets OCs until now, so I decided to nail down Charizard1246's specific features: His eyes, or a preference for the color red or devil aesthetics.
