the death of chantal pt. 1“chantal stared at the sidewalk, imagining the rain as tears. she wish she was still programmed to cry and express despair. she was built as a war drone and killer on demand. after witnessing other robots similar to her enjoy life both with and without humans, she felt true empathy, and rebelled against the people who kidnapped her. originally made to be a companion bot for a suicidal retail worker back in 1965, she was kidnapped by the osteopax labs, where she was brainwashed into killing people and apathetic to emotions. her first taste of empathy? seeing fellow robots feed homeless children in front of the lab. she escaped through shooting a hole through the walls of her cell, and flying to her old friend alexander, who she befriended back in 1983, just a year before her kidnapping. she eventually found some mail from alexander, her first interaction after four years of not seeing him. the note was an invitation to meet him at his house. why did he ask for a visit now? eventually it started storming suddenly, so chantal ran to the 99¢ store for a cheap umbrella. although she was immune to water damage, she didn’t want to feel like a war drone and more human. “humans use these things anyway, so if i dont want to be seen as a murderer, i’d better act like one.” she told herself. soon she found alexander’s house. he eventually took her umbrella and coat to dry in the bathroom. “the last time i saw you, you disappeared before my very eyes.” said chantal. “why did you call for me now? “i was always your friend since we met at that pier and i wanted to check up on you, since you escaped from that stupid torture chamber.” answered alexander. “besides, i have something for you.” he eventually handed an album to her and smiled. “ i didn’t know you made music.”“well, since you were gone, i decided to venture to the world of music, to share my dreams to the world, and to express myself.” alexander said. the title of the album said, “alexander kane’s fires from your eyes.” chantal stared at the endearing colors, the viking and ancient greek motiffs, and the symbols. chantal and her creator loved history, especially of ancient empires, and they would watch movies together, so chantal started squealing in joy and crying. alexander was still talking but she was too distracted to make out what he said. behind them, a strange hand was writing mysterious symbols, and an eye with blood. globs of viscera, blood, and guts were filling the room, and their stench was too overwhelming for them to handle. chantal soon switched to battle mode and started to destroy any blobs in her sight. her battle programming was taking over, controlling her actions. her movements were swift, precise and destructive. alexander grabbed her and screamed, “stand down, soldier! i need some of them to be alive! i need to examine what they are, what they came from, and why they are here!” battle mode was turned off, and chantal started to collapse. “oh my, i’m so damn sick!”, said chantal when she vomited and almost passed out. “do you need to throw up?” said alexander.“i can’t. is there someone else who can help me?” said chantal. 25 minutes later, the globs disappeared. alexander found chantal in his kitchen, with his sister, jessica, giving her some ramen noodles and travel magazines. “alex, any info?” stated chantal. alexander stated, “chantal, this isn’t good. it appears that a giant spider creature is laying eggs in our house, and it's not a standard spider you would see, even in australia. i haven’t had any infestations for a long time. follow me, chantal. and jessica, please stay if you don’t want to be traumatized.” they eventually found the spider in front of the house. chantal destroyed all of the remaining blobs, much to the dismay of the creature. chantal eventually unleashed a shit-ton of glowing mini-missiles from her back, killing it and making it explode. two of the missiles missed the spider and landed on a hill next to alexander’s town. they later found a bunch of baby spiders, following the missiles. to avoid detection, alexander gave chantal her coat and hid her braids. after a few minutes, they found something disturbing. a cult with blooded robes, and the osteopax scientists, surrounding a giant ritual stone. there was a chained ophanim on top. disturbed, chantal asked alexander what they were doing. he explained, “unfortunately, your captors and that cult, are trying to summon this fallen angel to use as training to summon this creature i don’t know if i should explain.”“what are they trying to summon?” said chantal. “the earthshaker, a dormant god of torment that has been sleeping in this field for 230,000 years. the cult has been trying to wake up this beast for some reason. your captors are willing to go through any methods to get you back. they would rather see the world get completely destroyed than lose you.” he said. “wait, i’m being hunted? the end of the world is coming?” screamed chantal. he stated, “yes. although the earthshaker hates humans like me, it relies on the cult for survival. to it and the cult, we are preventing this world from reaching it’s “perfect form”. the cult is able to control it when they can awaken it. those bitches are willing to collaborate with that stupid cult just for that monster.” chantal started to panic until alexander calmed her down and told her, “i have a plan. we will try to decieve those bastards that we are part of the lab and you will bomb that stupid cult when they least expect it!” unfortunately for them, a group of robed people grabbed both of them and they passed out, with bags on their heads. they eventually dragged their victims to a cave, where three corpses laid in the form of a triangle.” revised version of “the death of chantal pt.1
