Drawn for a work art jam last year during March of the Robots. My prompt was ‘heart’ and I had to include the colour violet, which spawned this concept of an android designed to be a vessel and storage unit for flower species. The idea is that these gentle robots would keep the flowers safe even after the destruction of humanity, and in turn propagate the planet for the future.

I’ve always liked the quality of nature taking back the world from technology. The robots served their purpose and protected their gentle charges, and thus their legacy lives on even when their circuits have long since failed.
