I randomly saw some lyrics under someone else's art that went, "why'd you let me sink in pools of wishful thinking?" and the line really struck me, because I was having a Time that I won't get into right now. The song they were referencing is Pools by NIKI, and I'd never heard of it before so I looked it up, and it's very pretty.

In the original post, I ended up linking a different song I was more familiar with, which has always has and still does absolutely gut me in the best, most cathartic way - click the link below if you're steeled for emotional music, it's beautiful but god damn it's sob material.
