Helix is the eternal isekai, in that every world she enters is new, and she can never go back home. She started out as a farm girl, living in a commune that miiiiiight have been a bit culty, deep in the countryside of an America that had been wasted by a second civil war a generation before her. She ended up as a sorceress with a power that even she doesn’t fully fathom, the extent of which she often hides.

Helix suffers from severe PTSD, which is most often triggered by colored lights and loud noises in the sky, is sensitive to loud noise in general, and weak to sound based attacks and effects. She has one child, a fae daughter who is approximately ten years old at present.

By the time she entered the Nexus she had many years of experience in shaping space magic and in adventuring, but had lost much of her social aptitude. She experiences reality slightly differently than most, and comes off as competent and friendly, but a little weird.
