Allright after four long years of keeping stuff to myself, I wanna talk a bit about my comic.
I don't think a lot or if any people are interested in it but I can still give it a try.

So! What have I been cooking in the past few years?
Gotta say, I've come pretty far story wise (despite not working for the past few months-)

The story concept I have is a little similar to Princess Mononoke. Basically humans destroy the forest and the creatures who live in the forest are mad about that :v
Instead of spirits/gods I have made an original species called "Orians" which are a kind of shapeshifter.
They are humanoid and can take the form of a human, an animal or a mix between the two (I guess you could call them furries for that but eh, I'm honestly not sure what counts as a furry and what doesn't).
Orians are also capable of using magic like bending in Avatar but I don't wanna talk further about that because spoilers.

For the name I've been thinking about "Tales of Aria" because I want to call the world Aria, yada yada... That might change but I'm still working on it so-

For my characters and world building I've gotten a lot of help from an online blog I once found on Pinterest which I generally really recommend to check out!! The person who wrote it has info on all kinds of stuff and I have to admit that I got down most things with their blog's help! (please check it out here: https://allwritealright.com/)

With the world Building I'm almost done with the Orian's culture though I still need to work on designs.
The work clothing I made for them is based off of east asian clothing. It's not the same and at some point I just did random stuff for my main characters but eh.
I even designed a magic system to make sure what can and can't be done. For example I wanted to put teleportation magic into my story but then noticed a plot hole and teleportation is kinda stupid for my story anyway-
Another thing I did is work on a fictional "language"; I designed Letters for vowels (is that what it's called?) and made a few words that may be useful. I didn't design a full language though because I'm lazy and also- I'm a biology student so I'm busy enough as it is airubriuegv

The human culture thingy in my story is almost done aswell. I'm missing designs aswell but I already got a little bit here.
Like a big part of their culture is their hunters guild thingy-
They got different ranks and depending on the rank they have slightly different outfits. For example hunters rank higher than guards so guards have one band/ribbon on each upper arm meanwhile hunters have two on each (It's just a small detail but I still think it's cool :3). Another thing on the clothes design, is that I actually got inspiration from the sun warriors from avatar for the hunter outfits :>

Then for my characters:
The main character is an Orian named Ren who lacks a lot of confidence because of his Past. He is a skilled magic user and likes to read :3
The second main lead (or at least I'm planning for them to be that) is a human hunter named Kai who hates to wear shoes (thus walks around barefoot all the time), loves to draw and has a drinking problem-

Sadly I had to cut some characters aswell :(
Kai was supposed to have a younger sister but sinceģ I couldn't figure out how to properly write her into the story, I just decided to cut her out (but i did like her design a lot!!).

Anyway- I have made character sheets for all the important characters that appear in my story. It's basically just info for me to know what I need to consider when writing scenes in the story, but I did make a copy of the sheets that have less spoilers on them. Okay I think that's all for now. I want to read a book about making webcomics soon, so after or while I'm doing that I want to start working on the comic again.
