Based on the birds of the same names (Great Eared Nightjar and "Snow Fairy" / Hokkaido Long-tailed Tit), these guys are little fae creatures....... Snowfairy is too young to consciously hide their scales like Nightjar can! This is a gif just to show you what Nightjar looks like with their scales. They don't have any interesting markings like Snowfairy does :(

I think it's very funny that the only source bird that has a long tail ended up with a tiny bunny tail, while the big mouth Thing ended up with that huge snake tail.

Anyway. Nightjar is 12 and Snowfairy is 10! In fae chronological age they're more around 85-90 because of how slow the fae age in my universe.

Snowfairy uses all pronouns, while Nightjar is strictly they/them.
