Happy 35th Anniversary to the one and only Sonic the Hedgehog.

I've been a fan since the very beginning and his games more than any others have gotten me through some tough times growing up.
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 in particular is the game which made me become a forever fan of video games. That game was special and is the main focus of this artwork.

Sonic & Knuckles is the first Sonic game I ever owned. Knux is my favourite character. Always loved his backstory of Master Emerald lore.

Special thanks to @mamamaddysu for introducing me to the wonders of the white gel pen. I was able to fix a big mistake I made while colouring Tails and her input kept me motivated. Thanks babe!

Pretty happy with how this ended up. The speech bubbles were a last minute addition. I felt like this was a poster in need of a tag line!
